It has been a little over a week now since we began our Micro aquarium.  I visited my MicroAqua for the first time friday and found some interesting things.  First when I visited my MicroAqua I had to do some things to it first.  Some of the water in it had evaporated and so i had to put some more water in it.  I first put fresh water in it and than there was some dirty muddy water next to the pan with all the other Micro Aqua in it.   In this  water was some grass or plant that we placed in our MicroAqua when was creating them. I scoop some water and mud from the bottom and placed them in my MicroAqua and I also scoop some of the water from the middle and the top of the bowl.  Where this water came from I have no idea but when I was examining my MicroAqua on the microscope I saw alot of  organism.  I saw more organism than before when we first started.  The organism range from different colors.  The colors of the organisms were blue green and even some purple.  It was pretty amazing and cannot wait to see what else I find on my journey with my MicroAqua.

Was able to get some name of the organism than.. I needed a little help this week was kind of rough but promise the blogs will get better.

MicAqua-The Beginning

Oct. 11, 2011

In Oct. 11 lab we began our journey with MicroAquarium.
First we took glued together glasses and gave them a base and a lid.
Second we had to choose from a number of  water.
This water was from open lakes and contaminated water in different areas of East Tennessee
The water I chose was from the teacher backyard birdbath.
When gathering the water we had to scoop from  top middle and bottom of the container in which we was   receiving the water from.
Third, after we gather the water we had two put two different kind of plants in MicroAquarium.
Fourth we look through the MicroAquarium with our compound Microscope and saw a few species.

The next few weeks I will be tuning about my MicroAquarium.
